(CBS/AP) HAYWARD, Calif. - A plea hearing for Giselle Esteban, a pregnant mother charged with killing Northern California nursing student Michelle Le, has been postponed.

An Alameda County judge on Monday rescheduled the hearing for Esteban for Sept. 19 so that she could obtain an attorney.

The 27-year-old Esteban was charged Friday with murder in connection with the death of the 26-year-old Le, who disappeared more than three months ago at a Hayward hospital where she was doing a clinical rotation.

Police believe Esteban, a former friend of Le's from high school in San Diego, attacked the nursing student in the hospital's parking garage. Le's body has not been found.

Esteban was arrested last week and has been held without bail. She appeared in court briefly Friday but didn't enter a plea.
