Paul McCartney leaves pick on first visit to Graceland
Paul McCartney made his first visit to Graceland, the one-time home of the King of Rock 'N' Roll, and left a gift behind.
A photo on the former Beatle's official Twitter account shows him leaving a guitar pick at Elvis Presley's grave:
According to the Associated Press, another tweet said the pick was "so Elvis can play in heaven." That message no longer appears on McCartney's Twitter page.
McCartney, a lifelong Elvis fan, toured the Memphis, Tenn., mansion on Sunday.
He was in Memphis to play a show on the North American leg of his "Out There" tour.
The show at FedExForum marked McCartney's first visit to the Bluff City in two decades.
