"Orphan Black" renewed for season 4

Great news for members of the Clone Club -- "Orphan Black" has been renewed for a fourth season.

BBC America announced Thursday that the sci-fi series will return with 10 new episodes in 2016.

"'Orphan Black' is an entirely fresh and original show that stands out even in today's crowded TV landscape. Tatiana Maslany's buzzy, virtuoso performance headlines a brilliant cast and we are delighted to let our vocal and passionate fan base know that this wildly entertaining ride will continue next year," said Sarah Barnett, BBC America president and general manager.

The series kicked off its third season last month, picking up after the season 2 bombshell that the many, many characters played by Maslany aren't the only clones in town. There's now a set of male clones in the mix, all played by Ari Millen.

"I was really excited about the prospect of it because I think Ari's such a strong actor, and I think what they offer us is another exploration of nature/nature, a different perspective, a different kind of experiment," Maslany told CBS News ahead of the season 3 premiere. "The [female] Leda clones were raised separate from each other, so for them to discover each other is their journey, and to come to terms with the fact that they're clones is their journey. But the [male] Castor clones were raised self-aware and in a unit, so there's a very different experience that they bring to the equation."

"Orphan Black" airs Saturdays on BBC America. The season 3 finale will bow next month, on June 20.
