(CBS) If you've been wondering what happened at the taping of the final episode - ever - of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," the New York Times' Brian Stelter clued in followers of his personal Twitter account with details. Don't click through if you want to remain in the dark until airtime.

Stelter's first tweet warned of spoilers and the second reads, "In attendance at the finale: Stedman, Gayle, Maria Shriver, Tyler Perry, and Oprah's fourth grade teacher. But the only speaker was Oprah."

He followed that tweet with news that the finale is a retrospective of the show's 25 years and a reminder to "live your best life." Oprah called the show "a 'love letter' to viewers" and got teary at the end.

Finally, there were hugs, high-fives to the staff and Oprah repeating, "We did it, we did it." And - sorry to disappoint - Oprah said there would be no giveaways.

The final episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs Wednesday, May 25.
