Opening night of Al Pacino's play moved back

Al Pacino will not be hitting the Broadway stage until December now.

The Oscar winner is playing Shelly Levene in a revival of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Glengarry Glen Ross" about the world of salesmen.

The play, which began previews in October, has now moved its opening night to Dec. 8, with a review release date of Dec. 10, according to Playbill.

The play's run will be extended to Jan. 20, 2013, producers told Playbill.

Pacino has two Tonys, as featured actor in "Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?" in 1969 and for lead actor in "The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel" in 1977.
