Open Season On Cheney Hunting Jokes

It didn't take long for the late night comedians to fire away at the hunting incident involving Vice President Cheney, who shot a fellow quail hunter over the weekend.

Take David Letterman, for instance.

On the Late Show With David Letterman Monday, Letterman took his shots (video), calling Cheney a weapon of mass destruction, and doing his Top Ten List (video) on Cheney's excuses.

The No. 1 excuse? "Made a bet with (hockey legend Wayne) Gretzky's wife (whose name has come up in a gambling probe).
