One Direction's Louis Tomlinson joins soccer team
We knew Louis Tomlinson could sing, but who knew he also had great footwork, too?
The One Direction member recently joined a professional soccer team, signing with the English second division soccer club, Doncaster Rovers, in a non-contract deal, according to the team.
The 21-year-old singer, who will sport number 28, is qualified to play for the club's first team in the second tier of English soccer.
"This has always been a childhood dream for me," said Tomlinson, according to Reuters. He can hit the field at any point this season.
A statement on the club's website noted, "Louis has always been passionate about football and wanted to realize a dream of signing for his home town club where he once worked on match days."
It's unclear, though, how much Tomlinson will actually play, seeing how busy One Direction will be over the next year. There's a worldwide stadium tour in the works, not to mention the theatrical release of One Direction's "This is Us" film later this month and the launch of the boy band's new line of makeup for women.
What can't these guys do?
