OMG: Shooting machetes with a slingshot

(CBS) - Do not try this at home! Notice how I'm not specifying "kids" - this warning applies to everyone who checks this out. In the above video, YouTube user "JoergSprave" demonstrates his machete slingshot/crossbow combination.

What is it good for? Nothing but impressing people on YouTube, as he states. Scaring anyone he dislikes is probably a bonus.

The device is very long due to the weight and size of the machete. And with devices of great genius come sacrifice - he shows off a pretty bad cut he took during the initial stages of creation.

Does the machete slingshot work? You betcha'! What am I doing if I ever see him and this device? Running away fast!!
