Official Seinfeld Site Signs On

As Seinfeld signs off...an official web site signs on. Fans around the world have been creating web sites in tribute to Seinfeld for years. At long last Warner Brothers and Castle Rock Entertainment have launched the official Seinfeld site.

The www.seinfeld.com name was registered three years ago by Castle Rock. Why did they wait until the show was stopping production to go online? All we were told is that the site is going up now as a tribute to the fans.

It bills itself as a site about nothing. What you'll find are video clips, an interactive game called Fridge-a-dare, a raid on Jerry's refrigerator and there are plans to add sounds and pictures that you can download for your desktop.

Do an online search and you can find lots of fan created Seinfeld sites. And the folks at Universal Studios are holding an online auction for charity of Seinfeld memorabilia. You can place your bid for a shirt worn by Jerry, a blouse worn by Elaine or items like the Soup Nazi script, bundled with a six pack of chowder from the real New York City Soup Kitchen International. You can find the auction at universalstudios.com.
