Occupy protesters to target West Coast ports
OAKLAND, California - Anti-Wall Street protesters were planning to blockade West Coast ports from Anchorage to San Diego on Monday.
Demonstrators were scheduled to gather at 5:30 a.m. to march on the Port of Oakland, which Occupy protesters successfully shut down in November for a number of hours.

Marchers expected to descend even earlier on the sprawling port complex spanning Los Angeles and Long Beach as the work day begins.
Occupy groups in Seattle, Tacoma and the Canadian city of Vancouver were also planning blockades. The months-old movement started off in New York against perceived corporate greed.
The protests are perhaps the Occupy movement's most dramatic gesture since police raids sent most remaining camps scattering.
The union representing longshoremen up and down the West Coast is distancing itself from the shutdown effort.
