North Korean accordion cover of a-ha's "Take on Me"

(CBS) - If you only watch one North Korean accordion cover of a-ha's classic "Take On Me" today, make it this one.

The five young accordionists in this sprightly video are members of Pyongyang's Kum Song School. This performance is from a "multi-genre project" by Norwegian artist Morten Traavik called "The Promised Land."

We don't get to see a lot of North Korean art here in the rest of the world. So it's nice to see they are able to cut loose every once and awhile with some classic 80's synth-pop. It's also nice to be reminded that, no matter where in the world you are, the accordion will always be the dorkiest instrument.
