New Title in Popular Kids' Series... I Spy

Just like the movies, hit software titles just about always wind up with sequels. That's good news for kids when it comes to I Spy...a hit CD ROM from two years ago based on a popular series of books. Scholastic's Julie Wick....

"I Spy Spooky Mansion is a follow up to the first I Spy CD ROM and it's a little bit different. We've added a few twists and turns. This time we took the I Spy picture riddles that we know kids love and we put it inside a Spooky Mansion for kids to explore and we gave them a mission to accomplish. Their mission is to get out of the Spooky Mansion. And in order to do that, they have to search through all ten creepy rooms in search of hidden picture riddles and every time they find a picture riddle and solve it, they get a piece to the secret message puzzle."
Find them all and you get the clues you need to get out of the house. It's designed for six to ten year olds....

"For pre-readers, this is a great program. For a six year old that is starting to read but still hasn't quite fully grasped reading yet, they can still play this game because the picture riddles are read to them. For older kids, they can employ some of their critical thinking skills."
Yet another I Spy title for pre-schoolers is due out next month.
