New Man For Paris? Not So Fast
It's been almost a month since Paris Hilton was released from jail and already there's talk about her getting back into the dating scene.
The New York Daily News reported Tuesday that the heiress was spotted making out with T-Shirt designer Tyler Atkins, 21.
The newspaper said a witness spotted the couple outside the Polaroid Beach House in Malibu on Saturday "making out like teenagers."
But a source told The ShowBuzz Tuesday afternoon that the two are not a couple. Instead, the source said Atkins is simply teaching the celebutante how to surf.
Atkins was seen holding her new Yorkie terrier, Cinderella, the newspaper said. The pair made an appearance at the Lia Sophia clam bake that night.
The surfer is reportedly a friend of pro surfer Koby Abberton, who the paper said has been giving lessons to Hilton. Photos of the pair surfing in Malibu popped up over the weekend. TMZ reported Tuesday that Hilton purchased a pink surf board on Monday.
The report mentioned a June 20 interview with Atkins available on YouTube, in which he talks of "heavy" partying with a famous "pill-popping" girl with whom he had a threesome.Photos: Paris Hilton
The source told The ShowBuzz that Atkins and Hilton only met a couple of days ago and claimed the YouTube video was actually made a year ago.
In other Hilton news, a California couple's lawsuit over a traffic collision involving a car owned by Paris has been settled.
Court records show that the settlement was reached Friday and the case will likely be formally dismissed at an Aug. 29 hearing. Terms of the agreement were not made available.
