2 killed, several injured in fiery multi-car crash in N.J.
EDISON, N.J. — Two people were killed and several more injured in a fiery crash on a major New Jersey highway during the Friday morning rush. CBS New York reports the crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 440 near Interstate 287 in Edison.
At least four other people were injured in the crash.
A stretch of the road was closed while the crash was investigated, causing major travel delays.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
