New "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" villain revealed: report

Look out, Star-Lord, there's a new baddie to contend with -- and she's powerful.

Or at least she is if reports about the in-production "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" are correct. Several new actors are joining the cast for the follow-up to Marvel's Chris Pratt-led 2014 team-up, including Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell.

But while most of the identities of the roles the new cast-members are playing are being kept a secret, movie site Joblo.com claims to have cracked one of them: "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." star Elizabeth Debicki will be playing cosmic villainess Ayesha, a blonde goddess-like being created by the Enclave, a group of scientists preoccupied with global domination.

Coincidentally, in the comics, the Enclave also created Adam Warlock, who may or may not be the father of Pratt's character, Star-Lord.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" isn't due in theaters until May 5, 2017, so audiences will have to wait a bit to find out if the report is correct.
