Namco Bandai Presents Some of Their Fall 2013 Line-up
Namco Bandai were kind enough to invite Gamecore to a preview event showcasing some of their upcoming titles.
"Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z" is a new fighting game that will let players form teams with up to four characters to participate in group melee action, take on massive boss battles, or challenge other players around the world for brawls featuring up to eight characters on screen at the same time. The game will also feature expanded versus and co-op modes, allowing players to create teams of four characters to take on opponents across the globe.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PlayStation Vita. At this time no release date has been determined yet.
The "Saint Seiya" series comes alive as a new fighting game that will feature an all-star cast of characters from one of the most beloved and well received Japanese anime franchises in Mexico, Latin America and Brazil. "Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers" will debut in November of 2013 and will feature localized subtitles in Spanish and (Brazilian) Portuguese.
As players progress through the game, they will access the ability to enhance their chosen character's hit-point, strength levels, and 'Cosmos Power Gauge'. Explosive online encounters await players via versus and ranking modes. "Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers" will be available exclusively for the PlayStation3 in November of 2013 in Mexico, the rest of Latin America, and Brazil.
"Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures" which is available for PS3, PC, Wii U and Xbox 360 on October 29 2013, is a 3D platformer based on the hit animated series on Disney XD featuring characters from the show. In the demo previewed, "Pac-man" gains powers from different food he eats, granting him abilities like shooting fire and ice to stop his enemies - the netherworld ghosts. He also uses these new powers to solve simple puzzles.
From the looks of it, this is shaping up to be a family friendly game that fans of the show may enjoy.
"NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst" will have enhanced features from the original game, re-cut cinematic as well as additional missions, costumes and characters. Namco Bandai will be offering this as a downloadable add-on for those that have already purchased "Ninja Storm 3" or as a full retail pack. No word yet on a release date for Full Burst, but it will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
