"My Generation" Splits Critics on Thursday Night Premiere
NEW YORK (CBS) "My Generation" made its premiere on ABC Thursday night.
The coming-of-age series focuses on young adulthood, and becoming the person that your parents hoped that you would be, by following nine graduates of Greenbelt High School in Austin, Texas.
In documentary style, they are seen from their 2000 commencement to the present day.. The cameras look at the progress that they have made, the dreams that they have been able to reach and the lessons that they have learned.
The cast stars Michael Stahl David as Steven; Kelli Garner as Dawn; Jaime King as Jacqueline; Keir O'Donnell as Kenneth; Sebastian Sozzi as Falcon; Mechad Brooks as Rolly; Anne Son as Caroline; Daniella Alonso as Brenda and Julian Morris as Anders.
Critical response has been split on the show, with some saying the young series needs time to mature, with its storylines still underdeveloped.
