Musician Taimane plays Bach's "Toccata" with an electric ukulele twist

(CBS) - If it ain't baroque, throw in a ukulele! (That's how that phrase goes, right?) Twenty two-year-old musician, Taimane, puts an amazing new spin on J.S. Bach's "Toccata". You'll recognize the classical tune at the beginning, but by the end of the video the young musician throws in enough twists to make the song her own. Things really kick into gear at about 2:25 into the video.

The young singer from Hawaii plays an electric ukulele as her instrument of choice and regularly performs in Waikiki when she has free time after classes at college. An impressive performance that really reinvigorates the classic song in a whole new way. Maybe you can fix it after all.
