MTV Movie Awards: Black Keys, Martin Solveig to perform

(CBS News) This year's MTV Movie Awards will shine a spotlight on music.

The Black Keys and French DJ Martin Solveig have been added to the lineup for the annual awards show, MTV announced Tuesday. They join previously announced performers Fun. and Wiz Khalifa.

Solveig will serve as the show's house DJ, remixing themes from iconic movies like "Jaws," "Star Wars," and "Pulp Fiction."

Last week, MTV revealed that exclusive footage from "The Dark Knight Rises" will debut during the awards show. Writer/director Christopher Nolan and actors Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman will all be on hand to promote the highly anticipated film, the network added.

"Magic Mike" co-stars Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey have been added to the list of presenters, which also includes Adam Sandler, Emma Watson, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg.

Russell Brand will host the MTV Movie Awards, which will air live on Sunday from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., beginning at 9 p.m. EDT. "Bridesmaids" and "The Hunger Games" are the top contenders for the golden popcorn trophies, earning eight nominations each.
