Mr. T to host home renovation series "I Pity the Tool"
Mr. T wants to take down your house.
The mohawked, former star of the TV series "The A-Team" has landed a home renovation series on the DIY Network, fittingly named "I Pity the Tool."
"I'm gonna be smashing, bashing, knocking down things -- then I'm gonna build it up, helping families to rebuild their homes," he said in a video announcing the series.
"We're hooking up homeowners who need help with their renovations," he added in a statement. "I'm tired of all this jibber jabber -- we're out here getting things done, working hard, demolishing the old and rebuilding the new."
The show will see Mr. T break down walls and tear out old rooms to give families home makeovers each episode, with the help of a team including "HGTV Design Star" winner Tiffany Brooks.
"I Pity the Tool" -- which, of course, gets its name from Mr. T's catchphrase "I pity the fool" -- is the latest celebrity-focused home improvement series on the DIY Network. It follows others including "The Vanilla Ice Project," William Shatner's "The Shatner Project" and "Rev Run's Renovation."
