MEMPHIS, Tenn. (CBS/AP) The King of Rock and Roll will get the spud treatment come August as the Elvis version of Mr. Potato Head makes it way onto toy store shelves.

The Elvis Presley estate has signed a deal with Hasbro Inc. and PPW Toys to release a likeness of the rock music icon through the classic, plastic potato children's toy.

The release is to coincide with Elvis Tribute Week taking place in August. Aug. 16 is the 33rd anniversary of Elvis' death. The first of the Elvis potato heads will be in a jumpsuit. A second version with the likeness dressed in black leather will be on the market closer to Christmas.

A spokeman for Presley's Graceland estate told The Commercial Appeal the etstate is "excited" to add the new toys to its army of more than 15,000 Elvis-licensed products.

Regrettably at Celebrity Circuit, no plastic "Blue Suede Shoes" or "Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich" parts were reported.
