Most anticipated new albums of summer 2013

Summer is almost here, and along with a slew of festivals taking place across the country, there's also a batch of new albums coming out.

The new National set has been garnering a lot of attention, and Beyonce has started to tease fans by previewing a few new songs on tour.

Read on -- and take a listen -- to what's in store for summer 2013:

The National, "Trouble Will Find Me" -- Out now

It's been three years since The National has given us a batch of fresh music. The band's latest, released May 17, features guest appearances by St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Doveman, Sufjan Stevens and Richard Reed Parry, of Arcade Fire, among others.

Queens of the Stone Age, "... Like Clockwork" -- June 4

On heels of 2007's "Era Vulgaris" comes "... Like Clockwork," featuring a round of guest stars, including Dave Grohl, Elton John, Trent Reznor, Mark Lanegan, Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters.

Kanye West, "Yeezus" -- June 18

The soon-to-be father is due to release the follow-up to 2010's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" this summer. He previewed two of the new songs -- "Black Skinhead" and "New Slaves" -- on "Saturday Night Live."

Sigur Ros, "Kveikur" -- June 18

The Icelandic band will return with its seventh album, "Kveikur," this summer.

Kelly Rowland, "Take a Good Game" -- June 18

Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child fame spent 2013 readying her fourth album, "Take a Good Game," featuring some familiar faces. Collaborators include Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Wiz Khalifa. The set also features guest vocals from former bandmates Beyonce and Michelle Williams.

Beyonce, "Mrs Carter" -- summer 2013

Beyonce has yet to announce the official release date of her new album, "Mrs. Carter," but it's expected out this summer. Fans have already received previews of a few tracks, including "Grown Woman," "Standing on the Sun'" and "Bow Down/I Been On."

MGMT, "MGMT" -- This summer

MGMT will be back this summer with a new self-titled set, the duo's third studio release. MGMT unveiled a new song, "Alien Days," for Record Store Day in April.

Luke Bryan, "Crash My Party," -- Aug. 13

Earlier this year, Bryan released "Spring Break...Here to Party," a compilation ablum, with two new tracks. But he's been quietly working on more new material, which will appear on his upcoming release. The album's first single, "Crash My Party", arrived on April 7, following its premiere at the 2013 ACM Awards.
