Miss Piggy and Kermit reunite to promote Emmys
Miss Piggy and Kermit have reunited -- but only to promote Sunday's Emmy Awards.
In this new video, the two Muppets meet for a power lunch after their highly publicized breakup, and Kermit asks Miss Piggy if she is aware that this is purely a business meeting.
"Well duh, we're no longer together!" she exclaims. "Haven't you seen the press?"
She then makes a little snipe at Kermit's new girlfriend, Denise.
"By the way, how IS Dennis?" she asks.
"It's Denise, and she's fine," says Kermit of his ABC marketing executive girlfriend.
Things take a turn when Julie Bowen sends over a bottle of champagne -- let's just say that Miss Piggy smells sabotage in the air.
Viola Davis and Joel McHale also join in on the fun during the Emmys promo, and so does Animal, who is sitting at another table for a power lunch.
Miss Piggy tells everyone in the video that she's "fantastic" after the break-up, but we're not so sure. This blonde pig is hungry for press, and it seems like she at least wants to make "Dennis" jealous.
We're hoping we'll get to see more tense moments between Miss Piggy and Kermit at the Emmys. Maybe we'll even get to meet Denise!
"The Muppets" premieres on ABC on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m.
