Miranda Lambert questions Chris Brown's Grammy appearance

(CBS) Country star Miranda Lambert wasn't a fan of Chris Brown's appearance at Sunday night's Grammy Awards.

On Monday, the singer sent a pair of tweets questioning Brown's presence at the ceremony - where he performed twice and took home the award for best R&B album - citing his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

"Gunpowder and Lead," for those not familiar with Lambert's songs, is about avenging domestic violence.

Brown reportedly responded to critics on Tuesday with a message of his own. A screencap on Mashable.com shows that Brown tweeted, "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F--- OFF!" That tweet has since been removed from his account.
