A news release Wednesday said investigators have spoken with drivers and occupants of two of the three vehicles seen in a video showing 21-year-old Shunick riding her bicycle. Cpl. Paul Mouton says nobody in one car or a pickup truck with a bed cover had information about or connection to the case.

Investigators are still looking for information about a newer model, four-door, white Chevrolet Z-71 pickup truck that was heading the same direction as Shunick.

Mouton said in an email that Lafayette police have not yet heard from Louisiana State Police Crime Lab experts who are studying Shunick's bicycle for clues.

Detectives are asking anyone with any information about the case to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
