Michael Douglas to be presenter at Oscars

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Two-time Oscar-winner Michael Douglas will be a presenter at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony on February 26.

The producers of this year's awards show, Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, announced Douglas' participation on Monday.

As a producer Douglas won a Best Picture Oscar for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975), and as a performer won the Best Actor Oscar for Oliver Stone's "Wall Street" (1987).

Douglas's other film credits include "Coma," "The China Syndrome," "Fatal Attraction," "Basic Instinct," "The War of the Roses," "Falling Down," "Wonder Boys," "Traffic," "Solitary Man"

He reprised his role as Gordon Gekko in "Wall Street; Money Never Sleeps."

Douglas will be joining a roster of presenters that includes Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Emma Stone and Kristen Wiig, as well as Muppets Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.

The 84th Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, February 26, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, and televised live on ABC.
