Miami Vice
INGREDIENTS:
1 strawberry, stem removed and sliced
1 slice kiwi
1 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces Absolut peach
4 ounces Red Bull
Paper umbrella, for garnish
METHOD:
In a glass, combine strawberry slices, kiwi, and simple syrup. Mash with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon. Add ice, Absolut peach, and Red Bull, stirring to combine. Garnish with umbrella. Sure to keep you going late into the night in South Beach!
Passion Fruit Mojito
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon fresh mint, minced
1 1/2 ounces passion fruit juice
1 1/2 ounces rum
1 ounce simple syrup
3/4 ounce lemon juice
Splash club soda
METHOD:
Place mint in bottom of a glass and muddle. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine passion fruit juice, rum, syrup, and lemon juice. Pour into glass and top with a splash of club soda.
Ocean Drive Punch
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup lemonade
1/4 cup watermelon chunks, seeds removed
2 ounces white rum
Splash cranberry juice
Watermelon wedge, for garnish
METHOD:
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Serve over ice in a highball glass and garnish with a wedge of watermelon.
Red Sky (Mexican Bloody Mary)
INGREDIENTS:
1 Mexican beer (such as Pacifico or Corona)
Juice of 3 limes
Splash Worcestshire sauce
Splash of Tabasco
Pinch cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup clamato
METHOD:
In a pitcher, combine all ingredients. Stir to combine. Fill a super-size cup with ice. Pour drink over ice.
Virgin Pina Colada (alcohol-free)
INGREDIENTS:
7 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces coconut milk
1 cup crushed ice
Whipped cream, pineapple slice, and maraschino cherry, for garnish
METHOD:
Combine pineapple juice, coconut milk, and ice in blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a hurricane glass and top with whipped cream and garnish with a pineapple slice and maraschino cherry.
