Meryl Streep gets bleeped at Golden Globe Awards

(CBS) You probably expected it from host Ricky Gervais - but not from Meryl Streep.

At Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, Streep triggered the seven-second delay while accepting the the best dramatic actress award for "The Iron Lady."

She slipped with the s-word after realizing she had forgotten her reading glasses back at her seat. "Oh, [bleep]! I'm going to have to remember my speech," she said. "I forgot my glasses."

Luckily for her, though, she had them seconds later, with a little help from George Clooney, who was seen in the audience helping to pass the glasses up to the stage.

Once her script was in hand, Streep was all set, praising her fellow nominee, Viola Davis of "The Help." "I love you, Viola," Streep said. "You're my girl."
