McIlroy visits White House, offers Obama swing tips

(CBS News) Life is good for Rory McIlroy. He's the world's No. 1 golfer. He's datingtennis star Caroline Wozniacki. He even has a drinking song in his honor.

And with that level of celebrity comes an inevitable invitation to the White House. The star golfer from Northern Ireland was among several hundred guests at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Wednesday night at a state dinner honoring British Prime Minister David Cameron.

After the event, McIlroy took to Twitter to offer the president his thanks - and some golf tips:

The president could use the advice. While Obama is known for his skills on the basketball court, the commander in chief could use some improvement on the golf course.
