Matthew Broderick's Ferris Bueller Super Bowl ad is for Honda
(CBS) Ferris Bueller is taking another day off.
After a tease last week caught fire online, an extended version of Matthew Broderick's Super Bowl commercial has been revealed - along with the brand the actor is reprising his famous "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" role for.

The ad is for Honda, the carmaker officially revealed Monday (though auto blog Jalopnik spilled the beans last week), and the spot will air during the New York Giants/New England Patriots face-off Sunday on NBC.
In the commercial, Broderick channels Bueller and fakes sick to skip out on a day of work. Instead of jumping into a Ferrari to take on the town, he drives off in a Honda CR-V.
The ad was shot by "The Hangover" writer/director Todd Phillips, Jalopnik reports.
Honda says there are more than two dozen references to the classic 1986 film hidden in the commercial. How many can you spot?
