Dallas mother fatally shot meeting online buyer for cellphone
DALLAS – A woman who thought she was meeting an online buyer for her cellphone was fatally shot in a parking lot outside a Medieval Times restaurant on Sunday, reports CBS DFW.
Martha Teran, 42, was shot once. Police say her attacker was 22-year-old Lonzell Hunter. He was arrested Wednesday and police say there could be other people involved and more arrests to come.
Investigators say Hunter showed up at Medieval Times, grabbed the phone from Teran, shot her and then took off. Teran later died at Parkland Hospital.
Teran’s adult daughter reportedly witnessed the shooting and was able to give a detailed description of the suspect to police.
