Martha Stewart looking for love, joins Match.com

Martha Stewart is looking for love, and she's doing it online.

During an appearance Monday on the "Today" show, the 71-year-old mogul agreed to join the online dating world and set up a profile on Match.com, with the help of the company's chief executive Sam Yagan.

"I'd like to have breakfast with somebody," Stewart said. "I'd like to go to bed with somebody. Sleep with somebody."

In an interview taped earlier, Stewart admitted she had been considering online dating but did not get very far on her Match.com profile.

"I started to laugh halfway down the page. It was, like, impossible," she recalled. But she did fill out the section detailing what kind of guy she was looking for.

"I put out 'youngish'" she told "Today" co-host Matt Lauer of her earlier profile attempt, adding that she wants someone "active" but did not specify an age range. "Energetic, outdoor-ish, really smart. Tall-ish."

Stewart was willing to sign up with her real name and photo, but Yagan advised against it.

"Only because I think it would be distracting to those initial conversations you have where everyone is going to be about talking to Martha, as opposed to really getting to know the person first," he explained.

Stewart described herself as "curious, intelligent, entrepreneurial, hardworking, fun, adventurous," according to Jezebel, which went looking on Match.com and found what it believes to be her profile.

If that profile is indeed Stewart's, her interests are "Cooking, Dining out, Fishing/Hunting, Gardening/Landscaping, Movies/Videos, Museums and art, Shopping/Antiques, Traveling Sightseeing," her political views are listed as "Very Liberal" and her pets include dogs, cats, birds and horses.
