(CBS/AP) STARKE, Fla. - Marshall Lee Gore, a man who was convicted of killing two women 25 years ago, is scheduled to die by lethal injection at the Florida State Prison on Monday.

The execution of Gore is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The former owner of a South Florida escort service is being executed for the 1988 killing of Robyn Novick, a 30-year-old exotic dancer whose naked body was found in a rural part of Miami-Dade County.

Gore was also sentenced to die for the 1988 slaying of Susan Roark, whose body was found a few months later in Columbia County in northern Florida.

Another exotic dancer testified that she was beaten with a rock, choked, raped, stabbed and left for dead. She was attacked two days after Novick disappeared.

According to CBS Miami, Gore was given two death and seven life sentences in the murders of Novick and Roark. He was given an additional 110 years in the third case for attempted murder.

Authorities reportedly found Gore after the third woman survived; he was convicted of stealing the victim's car that was tracked to Paducah, Ky.

When Gore was arrested, police reportedly found the woman's bank and credit cards on his pocket. He was also convicted for kidnapping the woman's 2-year-old son who he claimed  was his. He had locked the child in the pantry of an abandoned building in Georgia before heading north, according to the station.

One of Gore's previous lawyers allegedly said he was "mentally deranged" and not responsible for his actions, but several judges concluded he was using the insanity claim to manipulate the judicial process, according to CBS Miami.
