Mark Souder Interviewed About Abstinence by Mistress

The woman with whom Indiana Republican Rep. Mark Souder had the affair that prompted his resignation today, according to Fox News, is part-time staffer Tracy Jackson.

In something of a you-can't-make-it-up twist, TPMMuckraker quickly unearthed a Web video in which the Jackson interviews Souder about a range of issues, including, yes, abstinence.

"You've been a longtime advocate for abstinence education and in 2006 you had your staff conduct a report entitled 'Abstinence and its Critics' which discredits many claims purveyed by those who oppose abstinence education," Jackson tells Souder in the 2009 video.
