Marino's No. 13 To Be Retired

Dan Marino's No. 13 jersey will be retired by the Miami Dolphins during halftime of their game Sept. 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Marino's name will be added to the Dolphin Honor Roll during the game.

"Having my number retired and being inducted into the Honor Roll is very special to me, and I'm appreciative that the Dolphins organization is honoring me in such a meaningful way," Marino said in a statement.

The Dolphins will also commission a statue for Marino, who announced his retirement March 13 after 17 seasons in Miami.

Bob Griese's No. 12 is the only other jersey retired by the Dolphins.
