Mariah Carey joins Match.com, debuts "Infinity" video on her dating profile
Here's another one for the single ladies -- Mariah Carey style.
The singer debuted the video for her new single, "Infinity," on Match.com Tuesday along with a dating profile.
In the video, Carey sings "I believe infinity is more than just a made up dream" while donning her glamorous wardrobe and stepping out on stage at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Next, she lounges on her couch in a black gown while swiping through men's profiles on her phone. Among her potential matches are Tyson Beckford and "Empire" star Jussie Smollett.
Carey's Match account -- under the username MC1toInfinity -- includes a few stills from the video and a lean bit of personal info: 45 years old, divorced, non-smoker, social drinker, self-employed.
For the "in her own words" section Carey posted the lyrics to "Infinity":
"I need a lover to give me/ The kind of love/ That will last always/ I need somebody uplifting/ To take me away/ I want a lover who knows me/ Who understands how I feel inside/ Someone to comfort and hold me/ Through the long lonely nights/ 'Till the dawn/ Why don't you take me away."
"Infinity" is the only new song on Carey's greatest hits compilation "#1 to Infinity" released in May during her first-ever residency at Caesar's Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas, where she sang from her 18 chart-toppers and a few new songs. Carey will return for another stint at the Colosseum from July 6 to the 26th.
