Manhunt for "dangerous duo" suspected in two Utah murders, Nev. shoot and carjacking

(CBS/AP) SALT LAKE CITY - Federal authorities are helping conduct a massive manhunt for two people suspected of murdering an elderly couple in their Utah home and shooting a woman in the head outside a Nevada casino.

The duo, described as armed and "very dangerous," led police on a high-speed chase after a crime spree that allegedly including carjacking a woman - who is expected to survive the gunshot wound to the head - on Saturday, and shooting Leroy and Dorotha Fullwood, 70 and 69, respectively, to death late last week.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Stewart, the pair outran police near the Utah border.

"We have an extremely dangerous situation going on," Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Jim Phelps told The Associated Press.

The suspects, a man and woman, were last seen driving a stolen gray Volkswagen Jetta with Colorado license plate 725WHX.
