"Ninja" armed with sword robs Calif. Walgreens
PLACENTIA, Calif. -Police are looking for a robbery suspect who was reportedly wearing a ninja mask and armed with a sword when he demanded cash from a clerk at a Walgreens pharmacy in Placentia.
The Orange County Register reports that police responded to a report of a robbery at the pharmacy Wednesday night.
According to police, the masked suspect had a martial arts-type sword and took off with about $200. When officers arrived, he was nowhere to be found.
The suspect was last seen wearing a leather jacket, shirt, jeans and gloves, all of which were black.CBS Los Angeles reports that the suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 Caucasian man in his late 20s. He had curly brown hair, weighed about 180 pounds and was clean shaven.
No injuries were reported.
