Malcolm David Kelley 911 Call as Strange as "Lost" Episode
NEW YORK (CBS) Quick: What would you do if an unknown trespasser suddenly finds his way into your home unannounced?
If you're Malcolm David Kelley, recurring star on ABC's drama "Lost," you'd be surprisingly calm, at least that's what it sounds like from the 911 call the actor made during a May 7 break-in to his Bellflower, Calif. home.
In audio released by the L.A County Sheriff's department, Kelley can be heard telling a dispatcher that "he could see a man trying to break into his home with a knife."
During the call obtained by TMZ,, Kelley then tells the operator that the perpetrator is trying to break into the main section of the house where he's cornered. His voice never wavers. No panic. Nothing. Then the call suddenly cuts off.
When deputies arrived on the scene, the suspect pulled a weapon and deputies fired several shots, according to KTLA-TV. No one was hit. The suspect fled but was eventually captured. Kelley, himself, was uninjured.
While details surrounding the break-in are murky at best, Kelley family spokesman Dominic Friesen tells TMZ through a statement that "the family is working closely with law enforcement on the case."
Kelley played Walt Lloyd on "Lost" mostly in 2005, but has made appearances since. Kelley also had parts in "Antwone Fisher," "Malcolm in the Middle," "Judging Amy" and "Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit," according to IMDB.
