Making Buffalo Wings Fly -- Off The Plate!
Over the upcoming holiday weekend, it's expected that more than 72,000 visitors from all over the country will flock to the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, N.Y.
One of this year's special attractions, expected to draw huge crowds, is the Celebrity Chef Challenge, featuring Kevin Roberts, hot off the Food Network's "The Next Food Network Star."
Roberts, who's also an executive chef, cookbook author and TV/radio personality, will be going "wing-to-wing" against festival founder Drew Cerza, aka "The Wing King."
Roberts says the secret to his wings is that he boils them first to cook off a lot of the fat, then puts the sauce on.
On The Early Show Wednesday Roberts, who kids that he's "in training" for the challenge, demonstrated how he makes his signature Tavern Style Wings, as well as his Far East Wings, and Atomic Wings:
