Maggie And Tiger Tee It Up

Tiger Woods has been rehabbing from major knee surgery he had after winning the U.S. Open in June, but the world's top golfer found time to play the latest edition of his video game with Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez.

Woods quickly taught Maggie how to hit put club-to-ball in Tiger Woods PGA Tour '09, which is set on the famous St. Andrews course in Scotland, which Woods called "the greatest place in the whole world. I love that golf course."

Woods told Maggie his U.S. Open win was his favorite, since he had to overcome excruciating pain from the knee injury -- a torn ligament.

Why'd he do it? "I have no idea. Stupidity. Stubbornness," he chuckled. "It was day-by-day. The adrenaline kicks in. You start playing. It hurts, yes, but just keep moving forward. Just keep moving forward. Every shot means one last shot until you're done."

Now, he says he's training about six hours a day, but won't return to the links until next year, perhaps as early as January, at a tournament in Dubai.

Still, he's busy with his endorsement deals, which are expected to make him the first athlete to break the billion dollar barrier.

Woods says he enjoys playing video games, and spending time with his wife and baby.

How does he find time to play videos with a toddler running around?"

"That's the hard part -- you can only do it when she's sleeping. ... Otherwise, it's 100 percent attention. She's into everything!"

Asked if he intends to teach her to play golf as early as his dad him, Woods replied, "If that's the case, she's already behind."
