"Lone Star" Axed by Fox; First Casualty of New TV Season
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) "Lone Star" became the first casualty of the fall TV season, which is little more than a week old.
Fox network says it's pulling the drama off the air after just two episodes.

Replacing the little-watched new show is the psychological crime drama, "Lie To Me," which begins its third season next Monday.
The show's fate seemed sealed after Monday's episode, whose audience was even smaller than the 4.1 million viewers who had watched its premiere a week earlier.
Deadline.com reports that following Fox's cancellation, 20th Century Fox TV decided to immediately cease production on the show, which was filming its sixth episode. It is not clear what will happen with the three produced episodes that have not aired yet.
Praised by critics, the show featured newcomer James Wolk as a charismatic Texas con man living a double life with two beautiful women.
