Lindsay Lohan leaves Betty Ford for a different rehab facility
Lindsay Lohan has made some rehab moves.
The 26-year-old actress transferred out of Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on Wednesday and is now at a Malibu rehab clinic, People confirmed.
A source said the Malibu facility is a better fit for longer-term care, so prosecutors and the judge approved the switch. Lohan has completed the 30 days of her 90-day court-ordered sentence as part of a plea deal in a misdemeanor case filed after a June car accident.
TMZ, which first reported the news, noted that Lohan is at Cliffside in Malibu. Lohan is expected to make her first post-rehab public appearance during "The Canyons" premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August.
Lohan had some issues prior to checking into Betty Ford after having after spending only a few minutes at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., before checking out.
