Lindsay Lohan Could Be Contestant On Upcoming Season of "Dancing With The Stars"

NEW YORK (CBS) With Lindsay Lohan exiting rehab early on Tuesday, could her next stop be on "Dancing With The Stars."

The embattled actress may join the world of sequins and bronzer as talk heats up about the 24-year-old actress possibly being announced next week as a dancer on the hit ABC series.

A show insider tells Life & Style, "Lindsay is the perfect candidate. Who wouldn't want to see Lindsay do it?"

The show's rep wouldn't comment on casting for next season, only saying, "anything is possible." Lohan could be dancing alongside another possible competitor: Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino of MTV's "Jersey Shore."

Pro dancer on the show Derek Hough tells E!, "You have to want to do the show. You should never come into the show having a manager or any agent or anybody telling you should do this. You need to want to do it. Those are the people who do the best, who want to be there and they're excited about it. They're not just there because somebody told them to do it."
