Lin-Manuel Miranda to tell the Hamilton and Burr story on "Drunk History"
Lin-Manuel Miranda is giving "Hamilton" a new, more inebriated spin.
The Tony winner will be heading to Comedy Central's "Drunk History" to recount the tale of Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr -- after a few drinks, that is.
"Drunk History" creator Derek Waters announced the news during the series' San Diego Comic-Con panel on Thursday. Other guests set for show's fourth season include Dave Grohl, Paget Brewster, Jack McBrayer, Billie Joe Armstrong, Josh Charles, Kat Dennings, Ben Folds, Ed Helms, Aubrey Plaza, Liev Schreiber and Ronda Rousey.
Of course, as Miranda himself pointed out in a tweet last year, "Drunk History" already handled the Hamilton/Burr duel -- back when it was still a Funny or Die web series.
But obviously the series doesn't mind retreading old ground if it means getting Miranda a little liquored up.
