Leona Lewis takes the stage on "The X Factor"
(CBS) Leona Lewis took to the stage to perform on Thursday night's finale of "The X Factor" - a place she's all too familiar with.
The British singer won the third season of the U.K. version of the reality talent competition in 2006, with judge Simon Cowell as her mentor.

"I can remember being in this position with her at the very same stage of this competition," Cowell said, according to the Daily Mail. "Thank God she won. She is a brilliant artist."
Lewis, 26, performed a cover of Snow Patrol's "Run," while a montage of the final three contestants played in the background.
The last time Cowell ended as a winning mentor on "The X Factor," the Mail notes, was when Lewis won her season. On Thursday, he came out on top again when Melanie Amaro took the title.
