Lee DeWyze is engaged to Jonna Walsh
(CBS) "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze is engaged.
The Season 9 "Idol" champ popped the question to model/actress Jonna Walsh on July 16 at Disney World.

DeWyze told People magazine that he proposed over champagne on a private yacht under a fireworks-filled sky.
"Jonna is a Disney freak," he added. "They were playing love songs on the boat and I got down on my knee and asked her. I had a speech prepared but it all went out the window so I just asked her. She started crying and I said, 'Is that a yes?'"
DeWyze and Walsh, who met last October while he was shooting a video for his song "Sweet Serendipity," are reportedly planning to marry next fall.
