Lee Brice is engaged
(CBS) Country singer Lee Brice joins the growing list of stars who got engaged around the holidays.
He proposed to his longtime girlfriend Sara Reeveley on Jan. 2 while on vacation in Key West, Fla. The couple, who has a 3-year-old son together named Takoda, met on a South Carolina beach 13 years ago.
Pictures: Celebrity weddings and engagements"I finally get to marry that beautiful girl I met on Myrtle Beach years ago," Brice, 32, said in a statement. "I can't wait to get Sara and Takoda to Nashville so we can all be together."
He added on Twitter, "She said YES! I'm one lucky man!!"Brice is currently on the country charts with "A Woman Like You." In 2011, he was nominated for three ACM awards for his hit single "Love Like Crazy."
