Lawyer will seek second deposition from Bill Cosby
BOSTON -- The lawyer for a woman who's accused Bill Cosby of sexually abusing her at the Playboy Mansion when she was 15 says she'll seek a second deposition of the comedian.
Attorney Gloria Allred said Saturday that Cosby gave a deposition from 9 a.m. until about 4:30 p.m. Friday in Boston, CBS affiliate WBZ reported.
Allred represents Judy Huth, who claims Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on him in the 1970s. Huth will be deposed on Thursday, her lawyer said.
The deposition will not become public until at least December 22; a California judge has placed a protective order on the testimony of both Cosby and Huth until a hearing on that date.
Lawyers for the 78-year-old Cosby have called Huth's lawsuit frivolous and said that Huth's former attorney attempted to extort Cosby.
Cosby is not facing any criminal charges, but faces multiple civil lawsuits and dozens of women have come forward claiming the comedian sexually assaulted them at various times over the past several decades.
A federal judge ruled Friday that a lawsuit brought against Cosby by three woman who say he abused them can move forward and will not be dismissed.
