Lady Gaga gets her own Thanksgiving TV special
(CBS) Thanksgiving won't just be about turkeys, family and football this year. Lady Gaga is joining the holiday celebration with her own TV special.
The pop star will sit down with Katie Couric for "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving," which airs Nov. 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The 90-minute special will include interviews, an 8-song performance and a visit to Gaga's high school alma mater.

Lady Gaga, 25, will also whip up a Thanksgiving feast with chef Art Smith.
She will perform "The Lady Is a Tramp" with Tony Bennett, her new single "Marry the Night," "You and I," "The Edge of Glory" and "White Christmas," among other songs.
"We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon," Couric said in a statement. "This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers."
Lady Gaga made headlines when she donned a meat dress at the 2010 MTV VMAs; no word whether she'll wear a fowl outfit during the special.
On Nov. 21 Gaga will release "Born This Way: The Remix," along with her "Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden" DVD.
Meanwhile, things could be heating up in the singer's personal life. A source told Us Weekly that Lady Gaga is dating 30-year-old "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney.
There's no confirmation from the pop star herself, but Gaga and Kinney do know each other. Kinney plays Gaga's love interest in the music video for "You and I."
